Activation & Application Guide

Gummed tape requires a tape dispenser with a water reservoir for efficient application, though manual activation is also possible.

Using an Automatic / Electric Dispenser:

1. Load the roll into the dispenser according to manufacturer instructions
2. Set the tape length on the dispenser control
3. Pull or trigger the dispenser — tape is moistened and cut automatically
4. Apply immediately — place tape on carton within 3 – 5 seconds of activation
5. Press firmly along the full length — use a roller or firm hand pressure
6. Allow to set — full bond strength achieved within 60 – 90 seconds

Manual Activation:

1. Cut tape to length required
2. Draw adhesive side across a wet sponge or damp cloth
3. Apply immediately before adhesive dries
4. Press down firmly and hold for 10 – 15 seconds
